World Wrestling Entertainment Chairman Vince McMahon said Monday that beginning next week he will give away a total of $1 million each week to viewers of USA Network's Monday Night Raw. Saying that the money will come out of his own pocket, McMahon added in a statement, "People can view this as my own version of an economic stimulus plan to benefit our viewers. I would say my plan is a lot better, and more exciting, than the government's." A WWE statement said that the giveaway will be the largest ever undertaken on television. "Never before has such a prominent television executive given away such a large amount of his personal wealth to the viewing audience," the statement concluded.
